3-24-2011 Morning weigh In

Morning Weigh in: Margaret dropped a pound yesterday and I dropped 2.2, Margaret is down 29 lbs and I’m down 39.4. We were on the road for almost 4 hours-maybe the stress of driving did it, we listened to Rex Crain the full time-so maybe the Lord did it-Praise him. .8 to goal-As Margaret said- your there-your there.
Thanks Wilber and Margaret

3-23-2011 Morning Weigh in and Quote of the Day

Morning weigh in; Margaret said she has not been to the scale since last week, she was up then and now is down -1.75 (-28 total and as she says it has been a crazy two weeks) and I'm at 191.2 (.4 from lowest and 3 lbs from Goal). I've relaxed my eating somewhat with the move and all. Even with this I find that I’m maintaining my weight – keep in mind I’ve not fallen back into the bad habits that got me into the trouble to begin with. Watching Margaret yesterday in her brown slacks-holding the waist out and then turning to look at the fit- “Well these are ready to fall off of me-can’t wear these anymore!” The smile filled the room-so very proud of her.

I want to suggest a book-“Life Lift” by Rex Crain – with this he hits lots and lots of nails on the “Head”. A must read for anyone and a really great read for youth, midlife crisis, single parents, those who feel there is nowhere else to turn (he really puts a different twist to the reasoning to not end it all), economy victims, like I said just anyone.
Thanks Wilber and Margaret

3-18-2011

Wow, life is good and we are in upside down mode. We have moved from our location at 1224 Alice Dr. Suite E to our home at 508 W. Hampton. Not ready for business full time yet but it is coming. This is our third move in 40 yrs and I think we found more things to keep over the last twenty yrs. than in the first twenty. It’s like we have two of everything and then some more than that-you have to laugh or you would sit and cry-our Lord is faithfull and his Favor surrounds us like a shield (Proverbs and Philemon). This too shall pass and we are claiming all the good things that he has for us.

Weigh in this morning found us both at set point and for all the nutty eating we have been doing this is fantastic news. I know that some have asked what happens (working with the RVL weight management system) when you start eating meals again-so now I know-just keep a watch and you do just fine. Sleeping in a little (just the past two days) has been nice too. Back to the paint brush and the dumpster-look for a huge yard/porch sale in the next 30 days.

Wanted to touch base so you would not think we forgot you all.

2-9-2011 Weigh in and Quote and some good info.

Morning weigh in: I’m at set point and Margaret is down .2-that’s my lady doing so well and looking so good. Now is the time to try the RVL system. Call us at 803-468-6482 or 236-3323 and see for yourself how effect this system is.

A very strong part of the system that Margaret and I are on are the MonaVie nutritional juices, with the change of the season and the onset of the pine pollen now is the time to strengthen your immune system. The best way to do that is with our M ‘mun juice. I’ve added a link to Dr. Paul Clayton’s site and some good reading for those that are interested.

3-4-2011 Weigh in and Comments

Good Morning, Thank you for stopping by. We are very busy with our move so I have been neglecting my daily posts (sorry). We are both doing very well with the weight loss, Margaret is -28.85 and I'm -38 lbs. I'm 3 pounds from my goal (188.2) BTW the .2 is there just to get me at total loss of over 40 lbs (bragging rights). Margaret is still not revealing any numbers but is now saying that she is half way to her total weight loss goal.
We are starting a new samples program with our RVL product and will have three day supplies available starting sometime next week - 803-468-6482 for those of you that are interested in the program. This is the best is call product that is on the market - bar none.

The following comments are from our business partners Kent and Sherry Braswell - I think they are very relevant to the current economy and world situation. I heard it said not to wish for less problems but for more skills - we cannot fly without gravity...enjoy Sherry's comments and please stop by again.

Paths without Obstacles Don’t Lead Anywhere Important…

To get to the “promised land,” you’ll have to navigate through the wilderness.  All of us encounter
obstacles, problems, and challenges across our paths, and our decisions as to how to respond
to them and view them are significant.

A person with twenty challenges is twice as alive as a man with ten.  If you haven’t gotten any challenges you should get down on your knees and ask, “God don’t you trust me anymore”?
So what if you’ve got problems…that’s good!  Why?  Because consistent victories over problems are important steps on your stairway to success.  Be thankful for challenges, for if they were less difficult, someone with less ability would have your job.
“A successful man will never see the day that does not bring a fresh quota of problems, and the mark of success is to deal with them effectively.” (Lauris Norstad)

“You will never be the person you can be if pressure, tension and discipline are taken out of your life.”

Refuse to let yourself become discouraged by temporary setbacks.  If you are beginning to encounter some hard bumps, don’t worry.  At least you are out of a rut.  Circumstances are NOT your master.
You can always measure a man by the amount of opposition it takes to discourage him.  When the water starts to rise, you can also.  You can go over, not under!  Obstacles across our path can be spiritual flat tires…disruptions in our lives seems to be disastrous at the time, but end by redirecting our lives in a meaningful way.”

The truth is…if you find a path with no obstacles, it is most likely a path that doesn’t lead anywhere important.  Adversity is the mother of invention, and man’s adversity is always God’s opportunity.
Difficulty gives birth to opportunity.
What is the difference between an obstacle and an opportunity?  Our attitude towards it.  Every
opportunity has a difficulty, and every difficulty has an opportunity.  “Show me someone who has
done something worthwhile, and I’ll show you someone who has overcome adversity.” (Lou Holtz)
Many people have good intentions, but when something bad comes their way they simply stop.
Every path has a puddle, but puddles can be the tools by which God shapes us for better things.

Remember, the travel is worth of the travail when you’re on the right road.  If we would just recognize that life is difficult, things would be much easier.

Every problem has in it the seeds of it’s own
solution.  If you don’t have any problems, you
don’t get any seeds.” Norman Vincent Peale

Watch out for emergencies…they are you big chance!  Live you life so that you can say…”I’ve had a life full of challenges, thank God!”

Have a great day team!
